Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania, Adventures Beyond Site Summer Camp is open to students in grades 3-12 for the 2024-2025 school year, who are blind or have severe visual impairment (20/200-20/400). Campers have fun, enjoy new experiences, and support each other as they learn new things, mature, and gain confidence. Many return each year to share old memories, rekindle friendships, and allow a week of stimulating activities to expand their imaginations.
Summer camp dates for 2025 are July 21st –25th. Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes between 4:00p.m. or 6:00 p.m., depending on the day’s schedule. Past camp activities have included roller skating, Knoebel’s Amusement Park, swimming, kayaking, bowling, picnics, and art & crafts. Each year offers a week of interesting variety, challenges, and adventure.
Registration deadline is June 7, 2025.
